If you are experiencing issues with watching ads, please follow the steps below to resolve the problem.
■ Checklist
- Check for Ad-blocking Apps
If you have any ad-blocking apps installed (e.g., AdGuard, AdBlock), please uninstall them and reconnect to the game to try watching ads again.
- Check Device and App Updates
- Android: Update the SUPERSTAR Series app to the latest version via Google Play Store.
- iOS: Settings → General → Software Update → Install the latest iOS version, then update the app via App Store.
■ Android Solutions
- Change Private DNS Settings
Settings → Connections → More Connection Settings → Private DNS → Set to Off, then retry.
- Check and Reset Advertising ID
- OS 12 and below: If ad personalization is ON, turn it OFF and reboot the device.
- OS 12 and above:
- If the advertising ID is deleted → Select [Get a new advertising ID]
- If not deleted → Select [Reset advertising ID] and reboot the device
- Update Android WebView
Update Android System WebView to the latest version via Google Play Store, then reboot the device.
■ iOS Solutions
- Check In-App Ad Tracking Settings
Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Ensure ad tracking is ON for SUPERSTAR SMTOWN.
- Reset Advertising ID
Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → Turn OFF “Limit Ad Tracking” → Reset advertising ID.
- Clear Safari Data
Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data → Reopen the app and check ads.
